Aftercare Instructions *

Traditional aftercare-

  • leave the bandage on the tattoo for 2h-3h.

Tattoos will ooze, this is a normal part of the healing process. The bandage will keep airborne bacteria and any other contaminants invading your wound

  • Make sure your hands have been washed thoroughly before you move the bandage.

  • After removing the bandage, cleanse the tattooed area with water and antibacterial soap. Do not scrub the tattoo with a brush or towel (this should not be done until the tattoo has healed). I recommend using your clean fingertips to gently massage the soap into the tattoo.

  • Rinse the tattooed area free of soap

  • Air dry and apply a thin layer of ointment (I recommend hustle butter). However there are lot on the market to help heal

  • Repeat this two times a day for the first three days of healing

  • After three days, continue to wash and dry

  • Apply non-scented lotion for remainder of healing

AFTER A FEW DAYS YOU MAY NOTICE SOME PEELING AND POSSIBLY A LITTLE SCABBING. IT IS AT THIS POINT IN THE HEALING PROCESS THAT OUR TATTOO WILL BEGIN TO ITCH. RESIST THE URGE TO SATISFY YOUR DESIRE TO SCRATCH, RUB, OR PICK AT THE TATTOO.

If you are unsure about something with healing, it is best to consult with your artist on proper precautions
